Mod\u00e9lisateur climatique, il se concentre sur la variabilit\u00e9 et les changements climatiques en Afrique centrale et a publi\u00e9 plus de 50 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Wilfried-Pokam-2\">articles scientifiques<\/a> et chapitres de livres. Il \u00e9tait auteur principal du chapitre sur les changements du cycle de l&rsquo;eau du sixi\u00e8me rapport du Groupe Intergouvernemental des Experts sur l\u2019\u00e9volution du Climat. Il a \u00e9galement contribu\u00e9 au chapitre sur l&rsquo;Afrique du sixi\u00e8me rapport d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation. Foresti\u00e8re de formation, ses activit\u00e9s de recherche dans le domaine de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes forestiers et agroforestiers sont organis\u00e9es autour de l\u2019analyse de la dynamique de la biodiversit\u00e9 et des services \u00e9cosyst\u00e9miques dans les paysages forestiers anthropis\u00e9s. His research focuses on hydrology and water resources, climate change and climate change adaptation, with peer-reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Cyriaque-Rufin-Nguimalet\">scientific papers<\/a> published in international journals. His most recent publications focus on annual and multi-annual rainfall-discharge dynamics into catchments in the Northern Congo Basin, flood hazard occurrence, disaster risk reduction and the implications of low-flow regimes on people in the region. Her research focuses on soil health and degradation processes to fight food insecurity, biodiversity loss and the harmful effects of climate change. She is a laureate of \u2018African Union Kwame Nkrumah Regional Scientific Award for Women\u2019 (2014), The World Academy of Science (TWAS) -Al-Kharafi Prize (2018), Glinka World Soil Prize, FAO GSP (2021). She is also a STC member for 4p1000 initiative (Soil for Food Security and Climate), Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils (ITPS (2025-2028), TG Data (2025-2028) Intergovernental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and Contributing Lead Author, Chap. Il est titulaire de deux doctorats en \u00e9cologie obtenus en France en 1986 et 2002. Il a publi\u00e9 de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/scientific-contributions\/Jean-Joel-Loumeto-2049362872\">nombreux ouvrages<\/a> sur ces sujets, en particulier sur l&rsquo;Afrique centrale. Il est l&rsquo;ancien chef du d\u00e9partement de biologie et physiologie v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Il est conseiller du gouvernement de la R\u00e9publique du Congo en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement durable et des changements climatiques. He was Scientific Director of the <em>Centre de Formation et de Recherche en Conservation Foresti\u00e8re <\/em>(CEFRECOF), a research and training centre in the Ituri Forest (2003-2006 and 2012-2017). He led the DRC team who mapped the central Congo peatlands, and is Project Scientist for the DRC Peatlands Management Unit and National Forest Inventories, providing scientific and technical support to government. He has published over 100 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Corneille-Ewango\">scientific papers<\/a> and is a member of the Central African Group of Experts of Climate Change (GEAC). He is Visiting Scholar at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences at Uppsala. Inogwabini has a BSc in Physics, MSc in Ecology, MA in Advanced Applied Ethics and a PhD in Biodiversity Science. He has published several dozen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Bila-Isia-Inogwabini\">scientific papers<\/a>, book chapters and <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/book\/10.1007\/978-3-030-38728-0\">books<\/a>. His work led to the creation of two new protected areas, the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ngiri_Triangle_Nature_Reserve\">Ngiri Triangle<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tumba-Lediima_Nature_Reserve\">Tumba-Lediima <\/a>Nature Reserves, and the classification of the Ramsar site <a href=\"https:\/\/rsis.ramsar.org\/ris\/1784\">Ngiri-Tumba-Maindombe<\/a>. He co-developed the <a href=\"https:\/\/cbcis.info\/\">Congo Basin Catchment Information System<\/a>, a water resources management tool, and is author of more than 100 peer-reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=Qou0VQ4AAAAJ&amp;hl=fr\">publications<\/a>. His is Co-Chair of CBSI and President of the Central African Group of Experts of Climate Change (GEAC). He has published <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?hl=en&amp;user=0A5W0MgAAAAJ&amp;view_op=list_works&amp;sortby=pubdate\">widely<\/a> on botany and the impacts of hunting in tropical forests. As Dean he manages aspects of policy, training, and advocacy for research, including linking the university to respected research groups at the regional and international levels. He was the US scientific leader for the Large-Scale Biosphere Atmosphere Experiment in Amazonia (LBA) for ten years, followed by being Project Scientist for the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) its guiding the scientific development of the observatory, and then technical leader of the US-Brazilian Sustainable Landscapes Program. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en hydrologie en 2016 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Pierre et Marie Curie de Paris, et son MSc en Eau et Environnement \u00e0 l&rsquo;Institut International d&rsquo;Ing\u00e9nierie de l&rsquo;Eau et de l&rsquo;Environnement de Ouagadougou en 2010. Ses principaux domaines de recherche et d&rsquo;expertise comprennent la construction et la gestion de r\u00e9seaux hydrom\u00e9triques dans les pays en d\u00e9veloppement, les tendances des d\u00e9bits des rivi\u00e8res et des inondations dans les zones tropicales d&rsquo;Afrique dans le contexte des changements globaux, la pr\u00e9vision hydrologique et l&rsquo;hydrologie statistique, ainsi que les politiques et la gestion des ressources en eau.
